The Canada Gate
Designed by Nancy Keating, the Canada Gate is a companion piece to the Last Steps Memorial in Halifax commemorating the 350,000 Canadian soldiers who fought overseas in the First World War. Al painstakingly created the archway and each poppy adorning it then traveled with his family to Belgium for the installation.
